As advertised! This BBQ box sears and cooks to perfection without burning. The very first item cooked was salmon, it did not even burn the skin! Provided great BBQ flavor and grill marks without flare ups from the oil seasoning. Truth be told it works on the lowest settings of the burners. Had some issues with the item not surviving shipping as the package is not padded enough to protect it, but Amazon was very helpful in resolving this issue for me (I have a gorilla of an UPS guy I think). I love to BBQ, and I have years of experience cooking BBQ, I have a webber kettle for grilling, a horizontal wood smoker for true BBQ and a fire pit for all else, but after using this BBQ box only two times I had to exclaim "Where have you been all my life!" My new favorite BBQ for travel and quick gas powered grilling at home!
